Firefox updated on Cloud Agents – 3.0.15, 3.5.4 and 3.6 Beta 1

All of our Cloud Testing Agents have been updated with the latest releases of Firefox, i.e. 3.0.15 for the 3.0 release and 3.5.4 for the 3.5 release.

Version 2.0.0.20 remains available for those requiring a test on 2.0.

The Beta 1 release of the 3.6 browser has also been added to a number of agents to allow testing with it using the Cloud Testing service.

Firefox 3.6 Beta due next week

Following an conversation in Google Groups, which was first reported by The Register, it looks like the first beta release of Firefox 3.6 is due next week. Firefox 3.6, (codenamed “Namoroka”), has a release schedule before the end of 2009. Changes include a tweak to the JavaScript engine and minor upgrades to the look and feel of the browser.

Users of the Cloud Testing Service (www.cloudtesting.com) will be able to run their scripts using Firefox 3.6 Beta within 24 hours of it’s release.
